Overview
About Me
I work as an urban planner in Seattle, Washington. I enjoy backpacking/ camping, hiking, skiing, kayaking, mountain biking, traveling, craft beer, cooking, board games/ cards, podcasts, reading, and hitting the town with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to get a local perspective of an area and meet interesting people from around the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite artists include Black Keys, Jungle, Portugal. The Man, Glass Animals, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Phoenix, and Arctic Monkeys. I like music from most genres but I mainly listen to Indie/ indie rock, alternative, rap/hip-hip, bluegrass, and music that makes you dance (edm, techno, house, etc.)!
I do not really watch movies or tv besides documentaries but I love listening to podcasts!
I have recently gotten back into reading for pleasure and am currently reading Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari which is about the development of humans and our societies (definitely recommend!) I also enjoy crime/ mystery novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I backpacked through the Highlands of Iceland with one of my old college roommates and saw the Northern Lights on this trip as well!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer lively conversations and stories, teach games (cards, board games, yard games, etc), cooked meals, travel tips for places I am familiar with (specifically the US), and an adventurous personality!
Countries I’ve Visited
