I live to travel, experience new experiences and meet amazing people. I left England 5 years ago to explore the rest of the world and I think I'm doing it the right way. I'm a very liberal person and as laid back as they come. Just left a wonderful life in Melbourne to start a new life in Vancouver, but instead of heading straight there I thought I'd see all the countries I can in between! New to surfing and keen to host one day when I decide to slow down, if that ever happens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been traveling for many years now and the experiences that are most fulfilling are those spent with locals. I believe I can get on with anyone, from all walks of life and I'm keen to put that to the test!

Interests

If it's something I haven't done before, I'm interested! I'm a lover of the outdoors, adrenaline sports, pretty much anything involving water and I'm crazy about music. I love to surf, snowboard, play guitar, swing dance, read, draw and I can party with the best of them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise I like to keep my ear to the ground with emerging indie artists, but I also have a soft spot for old motown and swing classics. I like a bit of realism in my books and films so I read historical fiction and I love a good epic movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job 5 years ago, left my life in England behind and started a new life on the road. This was the most scary, and remains the most amazing thing I have done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think people can learn from my experiences. Anyone that has ever considered packing up their life and crafting a new one but are too scared to make it happen... well I've done it twice now and I love telling people about it.
