ABOUT ME

We came from two very different corners of the earth but both ended up in the heart of the continent, Winnipeg! We spent a couple years living on an off grid land co-operative in SE Manitoba and learned much about living closer to the land and living in a small intentional community. We also learned that homesteading on the prairies, especially without unlimited power, is damn difficult and character building. We've lived in the Valley for 3 years now and look forward to unravelling our vision.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering up some space for the travelling folk.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have both surfed informally and through CS. Mitch thinks it is the greatest invention since bread itself! Always a good experience, except being cancelled upon on no notice :( Love the way that people will share a glimpse into their lives and a bed in their house to complete strangers and soon thereafter become friends! A true testament to CS building more trust in people and faith in humanity.
