Hello,

My name is Mitchell and I'm 21 years old. I was born in The Neatherlands but my home is the whole world. I started travelling 2 years ago with an internship in Sydney, Australia. I had the time of my life so after half a year finishing my studies and one and a half year of work i desited to start travelling again. And here I am, on the other side of the world in New Zealand! And I'm not planing to go home soon! My plan is to stay a few more months in New Zealand, than go to Thailand, back to Australia, work little on Fiji, one year work and holliday in Canada, travelling north, cenrtal and south America, doing route 66 with a longboard, work on a cruise ship for a year and than maybe back to Asia. Big plans, big world. With other words, I love traveling!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to be different, I don't want to have a story like "yea i stayed in a hostel like everyone else", or "yes i did the kiwi experience like everyone else". I want to meet the real people that live here, and i think couchsurfing is the best way to do this! I'm pretty much a beginner in couchsurfing but I wanna make the best out of it and I'm open for anything. I prefer making new friends over a fancy hotel and a big bed (which is also nice don't get me wrong ;)), but I am happy about every floor that I can sleep on with my blow-up matress.

Travelling of course! I did my first surfing here in New Zealand and i love it, I'm not the best in the world yet but I'm really enjoing it! I also like to play ballsports (again, not but best in the world but I try) I love camping in the wild and making a nice campfrire, the perfect situation would be cooking the fish, you just caught, on the fire. I love to do out door things and I love to go where no one's been before. Also I'm planning to cycle the whole South Island!
