I'm a college student studying history. I enjoy hiking, cooking, making audio stories, baking bread. I love talking to people about what they love/do/think-- my favorite summer job was working at a public radio station, interviewing people about random topics. I grew up in a small town. I'm new to couchsurfing, looking to meet locals and have fun experiences while traveling. I believe in building community, and resisting individualism. I believe travel should be a means for human connection, not a product to be consumed. I live in a college dorm and can't host people at the moment, butI plan to once I have my own place!
