I am a student at Oregon State University, but l living and working in Eugene, OR. I work in healthcare, and plan to apply to medical school in <2 years. I grew up in Seoul, South Korea with my family, and also Salt Lake City, UT.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan on interviewing at numerous schools throughout the country, and I want to enhance the experience by staying with/meeting new people in the cities and towns I go to for these interviews!

Interests

I love to travel, first and foremost, having grown up abroad. I have now been to around 10 countries, total, and plan to do many more! I also have been a guitar player since 2007, and I haven't looked back! I have even been in a garage band back in Utah, and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love non-fiction books of all kinds, but chiefly, my favorite is, "Into Thin Air", by Jon Krakauer.

My favorite movies include: Dumb & Dumber (a childhood favorite), Dallas Buyer's Club, The Revenant (a recent addition to this list), and of course, all of the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings' movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think pursuing my solo skydiving license has been the most rewarding/challenging thing I've ever done; but riding a donkey up a volcano in the Philippines, or finding an abandoned theme park on a snowy deserted island in the Dnieper River (Ukraine) were also pretty amazing experiences!

I can teach guitar and basic Cardiac Arrhythmias to whoever is willing to learn!
