I recently finished my studies so I figured why not go explore the world! I left my home in Perth, Australia in mid May where I headed off to Egypt to do some diving in the Red Sea. Afterwards I left for Belgium to go travelling around Europe. Nothings set in stone at the moment so I'm simply making my plans as I go along.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about Couchsurfing in mid 2014 from a traveller I met in Indonesia. After hearing her experiences as both a guest and host, it sounded like something I'd really enjoy. So here I am!

Since I'm solo travelling this time around, Couchsurfing seems to be another great way to meet other travellers and locals along the way.

If a host wants to hang out, great! If not, I'm happy to go explore on my own.

Interests

I'm quite heavily into scuba diving, but beyond that I love exploring the outdoors and going for hikes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Can't go wrong with a good comedy when it comes to movies and true crime for books.

Favourite TV shows currently include Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones, Modern Family House of Cards, Orange is the New Black and Parks and Recreation.

I like a bit of everything when it comes to music, anything from; pub-rock, Aussie hip-hip, folk-rock and more.

I really enjoy discovering new music from other people around the world too, so if you have any favourite local bands id love to hear them.

Climbed a mountain in the middle of the night in time to watch the sunrise.

I love learning about and experiencing other people's local cultures and traditions, especially when it comes to food! Being Australian too, I can introduce you to our national treasure that is Vegemite.
