About Me

4th Generation Beekeeper! I've got honey in my blood. In 2014 I started an urban beekeeping business in my home town of Canberra. Now I'm on a bit of beekeeping pilgrimage, trying to soak up as much international knowledge as I can. I'm also following my childhood dream of being an adventurer!
Documenting it all here www.callmekeeper.com

Just finished working at an American summer camp as an outdoor adventure specialist. My job was to take groups of kids on camping and hiking trips! Planning to spend the next few months traveling Europe, trekking and meeting as many beekeepers.

Before I jumped into travel I was (and still am) an avid gamer! Darksouls is by far the best game I've played, also a huge fan of the uncharted series and I follow the Super Smash Bros Melee competitive scene.

I know everyone says this, but I am truly open-minded. I don't have strong opinions on a lot of things and I actively seek people who disagree with me, not because I want to slander them, but because I want to learn from them. I believe in being able to discuss things openly and confidently. If something bothers me, I bring it up. But I don't let differences in opinion change how I view someone. At the end of the day, I'm just trying to enjoy life. There is no point to bickering over small stuff ✌️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people and seeing life through there eyes is everything to me. I believe everyone knows something you don't and therefore everyone has something they can teach me. People on Couchsurfing who open their homes to strangers understand this in some way I think. I want to learn from you, and maybe teach you something in the process!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is really special to me, I don't think I have a specific taste. If the beat, the meaning or the significance resonates me, I enjoy it. That being said I really enjoy Hip Hop but I don't think I know enough to call myself a head. I love Run the Jewels, Eminem, Kendrick, Danny Brown, Nujabes. I Also have a guilty pleasure for retrowave like Carpenter Brut and Waveshaper.

I've only read a couple books in my life, but in trying to get into it. I recently read Marcus Aurelius' Meditations and The Element by Ken Robinson. I usually read off recommendations, so when we meet if you feel like there is something I need to read please tell me! Im interested in just about everything.

Reading The Alchemist by Paul Coelho gave me an epiphany.
The first book I ever read through was Wizards First Rule by Terry Goodkind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done the 2nd biggest bungee jump in the world!
In 2016 my bees and I produced the first honey to receive a gold medal from an urban enviroment!
2014 National Young Legend for Sustainablity!
In 2017 I participated in the Young Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia.
Helped heaps of kids gain an appreciation for nature by hiking and camping with them in the Adirondacks!
