About Me
***********************************
DISCLAIMER-THIS IS NOT THE TOKYO YOU'RE LOOKING FOR...
note- Tokyo, Tokyo (city and prefecture)
***********************************
But actually... I'm a 27 hour 3万円 ($300) boat ride from Tokyo, the boat runs about once every 5 days...
I'm stoked when someone wants to come check out the island! As long as you've read this header, we're cool!
**********************************************
I am currently an ALT on a tiny island in the middle of the ocean. Great community and lots of things to do in nature. I love meeting new people, and hearing about their outlooks on life, I am also always interested in most forms of adventure, spontaneity, nights out, trying new activities, foods, you name it. I had an amazing first CS experience motorcycling down the east coast of the US and met the friendliest of people. Looking forward to more.
PHILOSOPHY
"Be excessively reasonable and risk throwing out the universe with the bathwater."
Kurt Vonnegut
I need a good spiritual/philosophical conversation/rant every now and then.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking to host-I live close enough to the port, but pretty much everyone does lol.
Not going to be surfing much anymore now that I'm on one of the most Isolated Islands in the world.
I am looking to collect portraits of the people I meet :D
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
East coast road trip with aprox 13 hosts. All the best people I could have stayed with, all willing to show me around and more or less just integrate me into theirs and others' lives lol. Best way to travel in my opinion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was awe struck by the spontaneity and communal experience I had in my last min find for couch surfing in Ocean City. Such a wonderful stay.
The beauty of nature in many places, but namely the ocean and the great lakes.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy cooking, meditation, spirituality, and photography...these would be the areas i have the most to teach in. I also happen to be a native English speaker.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Depending when you visit, we can set up a special international/English class in my tiny school of 45 kids (9 grades). There's sports almost every night we can join, and of course all the "tourist" stuff, hiking, sunsets, diving, relaxing and taking it slow! If your lucky, maybe there'll even be some sort of festival!
See you soon.
