About Me
Hi there , here's just a little bit about me...
I'd say I love trying new things. I'm an avid traveller and really into extreme sports- surfing, mountaineering, snowboarding, and diving (sky and scuba), really just anything that gets the adrenaline going. I'm currently on a sort of gap year between my bachelors and masters, working out in Australia for 6 months and now traveling. I'm a big foodie and I love trying the local cuisine of any place I visit. I'm lucky enough to have seen quite a lot of the world already - Brazil, East US and Canada, SE Asia and most of western Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first heard about couchsurfing a few years ago but up till now haven't tried it out myself. My friend visited the states last year and came back with some great stories of how he'd met cool like-minded amazing people, and I figured I should give it a go myself.
I guess I'm on here to make friends all around the world, see how different cultures live, share a meal or two and have fun experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is very varied, and what I'm into changes month to month, ranging from classical when I'm in my academic mode to R&B/ samba when its summer season. Always have time for mellow accoustical songs and a bit of jazz though.
Big fan of Nina Simone, Louis Armstrong and Jack Johnson.
Books wise I'm more into non-fiction than fiction, stuff like freakonomics and then philosophy stuff really grips me.
Movie wise my favourites seem to all be directed by Christopher Nolan, I think the Batman trilogy would have to be my top pick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydived in Jurien Bay Australia, absolutely incredible scenery and the rush of free falling has had an impact on my willingness to take risks.
