I am originally from Pune, India and now living in Cincinnati, Ohio for the past 7+ years. I have a Masters in Mechanical Engineering.

I took a trip to Michigan a couple of years ago with a friend and I took a similar trip to California last year alone and to AZ and Utah this year where the plan was to do conventional + unconventional stuff. I think not having a plan is the best way to add adventure. That allowed me to just slow down and appreciate whatever places I visited rather than rushing and seeing "everything".

I carry my Nikon D5000 everywhere which lets me view this world through different eyes. I consider myself an amateur photographer.

I think of myself as a late-bloomer. I want to travel and see and meet as many new, cool people as I can and I think now is the best time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never couchsurfed before. My friend Mohit recommended me this and in my head it sounded cool. The structure of this program is based more on reviews and referrals, for which you need to surf more - for which you have to start at some point :)

Interests

My interest in understanding the human psychology is on top of my list. I think everyone has more or less the same resources but only a few end up making the most of it and making the most out of life! One of my biggest heros is Tony Robbins and it just intrigues me to see how people approach their lives.

Second passion of mine is to be able to learn the basics of living which a guy like Tim Ferriss is very good at deciphering. Getting the basics right, everything else follows. I am interested in figuring out my psychological DNA and mutating them to get the basics right.
