About Me

I'm English, I grew up in France, and I currently live near Barcelona in a house with my friends and my partner, as well as 5 cats, a dog, 8 chickens, 2 turtles, and some fish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're looking for someone to come and visit us, see the project, and potentially stay long-term! This is probably going to appeal to a lot of people, so before you spend too much time reading the details of this opportunity, I'll describe the kind of person we're looking for:

TRAITS
- English as primary/native language
- High level of Spanish is also a must
- Millenial (ideally mid thirties)

PERSONALITY
- A person who values kindness and positivity above all
- Creative, productive
- Good social/emotional intellect
- Has experience with co-living

INTERESTS
- Desire for long-term alternative lifestyle
- Digital creativity (audio/visual)
- Learning new skills
- Building "real" (physical) things
- Animals (cats, chickens)

NICE TO HAVE
- Alternative music (would love to find someone who likes prog)
- Gaming (eg. Elden Ring)

If this sounds like you, keep reading! :)

Myself, my girlfriend, and several others have the privilege of living on a lovely property with some land, in a beautiful and peaceful part of Spain. We have nature all around, whilst still being close to town, and only an hour from Barcelona.

Rather than following the typical formula for living life, we're trying something different - we're somewhere between a homestead, a creative incubator, and a place for personal growth. We also want to share this lifestyle idea with the world.

We grow food, we do DIY, we harvest rainwater, we do woodworking, painting, projects related to sustainability, and basically reconnecting with the real world (but still enjoy gaming, movies, etc.)

We've been here several years now, but we're still in the early, experimental stage. We're just starting to feel comfortable with sharing our work via Instagram and Youtube, and are starting to experiment with different ways of making money (not urgent at all).

A bit about me: I'm English, born in 88. My girlfriend is Colombian, and the rest are also Latinos. We generally communicate in Spanish, but everyone speaks English too. I'd love to find someone with a good English vocabulary, with interests closer to mine (prog metal, Elden Ring, DnD
