About Me
"In the world through which I travel, I am endlessly creating myself"
I just graduated with a degree in Intercultural Communication and love languages, cultural studies, art and music. I love the outdoors, hiking, biking, swimming in the ocean, and can have a good time doing just about anything. I'm passionate about intercultural storytelling, and work in the nonprofit sector producing digital media. I studied in Málaga, Spain for a year when I was 16, Salvador, Brazil for a semester when I was 18, worked in Rio de Janeiro last summer and most recently lived in Havana, Cuba for a year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm about to be in Rio de Janeiro for a few months and would love to get to know cariocas from the CS community or travelers in the area. I used couchsurfing while traveling through Europe (through a friend's account because I was only 17 and couldn't make my own profile haha) and a couple times in my hometown, Boulder, Colorado. I've had wonderful experiences so far with Couchsurfing. I think the couchsurfing community is made up of the best type of people: cultured, open, genuine and fun, each person with such valuable experience and perspective to enhance the community as a whole.
