My name is Dimitrí(some people call me Michigan for no particular reason) and I am a hairy, lazy greek. I can solve the rubik's cube and I can speak english with the greek accent.

Unstable and hopefully progressive. Most important I don't believe in nations and countries, we belong all to one kind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't wait the day I will grab a backpack and leave like a bird, free, until then I host. I want to stay active on CS and meet cool CSers. Apart from hosting and surfing if it's summertime we could even go somewhere together, to a camping or to hike. Don't hesitate to suggest things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several people from several places of the world. I have surfed in several couches around Spain but I am looking forward to surf in other places and host more people

WHY I AM NOT ON COUCHSURFING

I'm not on CS for dating, there are plenty websites for this particular purpose and people that use CS as dating website shouldn't certainly host unsuspected and innocent travelers. In case I have a reason to believe that somebody is on CS for dating I will express my negative impression in their reference section.

Interests

I have many interests from time to time, I guess the most important to know for the CS community is that I like walking anywhere and anytime, I like beer, live concerts or folk food and costumes, languages and accents, music jamming, cooking, swimming, skateboarding, ice skating, snowboarding, cycling, hiking, hitchhiking, camping, exercising, jogging, joking, juggling, shuffling, surfing, internet surfing, couch surfing, writing, reading, eating and a lot more.
I don't like tichu and other card and board games, I guess that's why they are called board games, because they're boring. Kek

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a music addict, seriously many people have told this to me. Progressive rock, stoner rock, psychedelic rock, alternative rock, funk, jazz, ska, electronica whatever, I listen to music for many hours the day, sometimes I play the guitar and I would love to have a piano. Also I would watch a movie, whichever type of movie and I love reading mostly scientific books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was open-camping in Samothraki with some close friends, the first night it rained so much that the rivers overflowed and a strong current wet everything and everything electronic we had stopped working. So we lived the rest of the days like primitives on this beautiful island. We had no technology and no worries.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've read in some couch descriptions "if you do this just to save money, don't even send me a request!". I think that this is very wrong, because everything goes around money and couchsurfing gives you the opportunity to do something without it. Of course there are a lot of reasons to do CS apart from money, but there are also people that don't have the amount of money to stay at a hotel. Why don't you give this amazing opportunity openly?

I can teach greek, english with greek accent, spanish and portunhol. I can teach how to play the ukulele and the guitar. I can teach you the essentials of cooking for students(pasta).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Usually, when I'm traveling I have no money to spare and I carry nothing precious, so technically I have nothing to share. But every time I will make a great effort to prove to my host that he/she makes the right choice hosting me.
