About Me

My mission is to enjoy life, to learn and teach new things.
I am a traveling artist - belly dancer, writer, designer, animator, and also - a proud SciFi geek.
I also love to cook, and would love to cook for you!
I am travelling the world while doing all these things that I love.
Find me on Facebook: Sharon Mitzy Sheen

MY PHILOSOPHY: Life is short. And because you can't make it longer - make it WIDER. By experiencing new things, exploring, getting out of your comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a host I hope to show people all the secret corners I know in Tel Aviv, especially the great night life.
As a Couchsurfer I can be a fun guest who doesn't take too much space, but will be also happy to hang out with my hosts if they have the time - cook together, dance together or just get a coffee. I'm open to suggestions!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even though I've been registered on Couchsurfing.org for a long time, I was actually inactive on the website, and only now (June 2014) I'm trying to learn how to use it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books &movies: Mainly (but not limited to) Sci-fi & Fantasy. My favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut.
Music: My taste is very eclectic. I truly enjoy most genres of music, from progressive rock to ethnic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I try to do one tiny amazing thing every day. But my biggest accomplishments so far are:
- Becoming a dancer and performing with my favorite band (Gogol Bordello)
- Leaving my job as an art-director in an animation studio in order to focus on dance
- Leaving home with a one way ticket.

Amazing things I've seen:
- A desert night full of stars in Rajastan, India
- An old old lady, tiny and wrinkled, was sitting in the crowded bus, out of the blue she opened her mouth and with a soft clear voice, she sang.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach everything I know. (Yoga, Belly dance, Graphic design, Web design, WordPress, Photoshop, Animation, Cooking, Making Jewelry and more...)
