Hi, I'm Gwen from Lyon, France.

Currently living in Paris and loving it! I have lived in other countries (UK, Germany, Austria) but I’ve found my home in France although there are many things I disapprove of French people’s cultural traits 😬

Like most of you I’m an eager traveler. At the moment of writing I’ve visited 69 countries and I’m not planning to stop as I have created amazing memories and a lot of times thanks to the Couchsurfing community.

Things to know about me:

1) I’m not extroverted and I tend to appreciate people that are not too full of themselves/don’t talk too much about themselves. I love a drink/going out but I’m not a fan of big groups of people as it’s too much effort for me.
2) I live a healthy lifestyle and it makes me so happy. I tend to connect more with people who love eating/cooking healthy food (preferably vegetarian), who are into sports and who are taking care of their body.
3) I’m not a fan of museums. I’d rather visit a punctual exhibitions + wander around the city than visit all city museums.
4) I am super clean and I appreciate people who are too. I don’t mind if you have a messy home (the concept of mess is subjective) but if you are dirty or if your home is dirty then it won’t fit with my standards.
5) I love languages and I love asking questions about them. If you have an affinity with languages then we’ll get along for sure!!

Apart from that, I’m open-minded, tolerant, calm, respectful and hopefully fun! But that’s for you to discover ;-)
