I'm getting back to CS after some time, so sorry if I missed your message in the meantime!

From August 2025 until summer 2026, I'm living in the US (Connecticut) and unfortunately cannot host during this time. However, I'm always happy to meet up with fellow travelers.

After graduating from law school in Finland and working for a few years in the legal field, I'm back to school and moved to the US to pursue a Master's degree in Environmental Law. Besides my home country, Finland, I've previously lived and spent time in Italy, France, Belgium and Czechia.

I like the usual things: traveling (especially by land) and meeting new people. I'm also very fond of beginnings: starting a new week, meeting someone for the first time, getting on a new road. I believe being kind and trying to listen goes a long way. I also find that the older we grow, the more of a conscious effort it sometimes takes to keep an open mind and to stay sensitive to the fact that the world is full of realities besides our own. That's why I think initiatives like Couchsurfing are so important - it's an easy yet powerful way to expand our horizons and meet people outside of one's own "bubble".

I've only had good experiences with Couchsurfing so far. I think it's a great way to meet people one wouldn't necessarily meet otherwise.

Intereses

I like trains, planning things, staying up all night, maps, art, good coffee and bad TV shows. Among other things.
