Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and am passionately fascinated with stories which is why I got into an industry that tells them for a living.

Since turning 30 I have been making the most of working holiday visas while they are still an option for me and would love to meet as many interesting people as possible along the way!

Music, Movies, and Books

This is a hard question because I have such an eclectic taste!

My favourite films range from; Rear Window, Silence of the Lambs and Into the Wild to Pitch Perfect, Liberal Arts, and Cruel Intentions

I enjoy many types of books ranging from Young Adult Novels to Running stories, Non-fiction lifestyle books to Biographies.
I particularly like to read novels that have been adapted for Film and TV. I like to compare them and feel like if someone loved it enough to adapt it then it is usually a great story!

I feel music is like clothes - different choices for different occasions! I like to sound hound a few songs a week of possible to download and create sound tracks to different trips.
I'm particularly fond of soca and carnival, electronic like Kygo and Del and more soulful music like Lauren Hill and Laura Izabor

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is a tough question because I think "amazing" is such a subjective adjective!

I think the thing I did that took my breath away has to be hiking the Inca Trail. Days on end in nature and the feeling of accomplishment at arriving were unbeatable. I felt more joy in completing that 26mile hike in 4 days than I did running the London Marathon (same distance less hills) in 6hrs 9mins!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing stories, random trivia, facts and silly jokes.

Plus I can teach you how to make a balloon out of paper if that counts.
