About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep a traveler's mind at home and abroad. By traveler's mind I mean being present, excited, and open to the people and all around you - wherever you go.

ABOUT ME

i'm a laid back, fun loving guy. i love being with my close friends and family, just as much as i love meeting new people, and being open to new experiences.

the latest thing that i'm trying.....IMPROV! I'm training to be an improv actor in SF!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a spiritual person. I'm a non-observant Muslim, but find the religion fascinating. I practice Zen and have been on week long retreats that I have found to be incredibly enriching.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to explore nature, explore cities, meet people, ride bikes, read, write, and travel.

I also worked for Couchsurfing for a month back in 2013 - it was a lot of fun and made me love CS even more.

I now live in San Francisco, in the Potrero Hill neighborhood. While I can't host right now, I am always around to meet up with people in the city. My friends and I love music, house, techno, electronic stuff, so we could go party. I would also be down to explore Tahoe, Marin, the beach, Yosemite.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my first CS experience was with Lina/Marcus and Elin/Victoria/Maria in Stockholm.

it was so excellent to meet them and im convinced that couchsurfing is the only way to travel.
