ABOUT ME

I'm kind of a mixed bag, I love to cook and entertain when I'm home, but I'll be the first person in the truck to go hiking, canoeing, or any other outdoor activity you have planned. Some of my favorite things to do are paint, shoot guns, go camping, and anything with my dog. I love music especially live, reading, and building things. My best friends would say that I'm fun, sarcastic, and love to joke around. I want to see the world, most especially the parts that aren't well known. I want to meet people off the beaten path with life stories that can change how I see my world and theirs. I'm getting into photography, and really enjoy being able to capture moments and places as they will never be again. Jesus is my Savior and I love both my home church and the church family I have in Oxford. Currently in school at Ole Miss. My dog is my heart I love her to death. Those who know me best love to pick on me, my nickname is grace and it's well earned. Any other questions just ask!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm music obsessed, you will find everything from classical to hard rock on my iPod and I listen to it all. I tend to lean towards rock of the indie or classic variety. I'm an avid reader, really anything I can get my hands on and although I'm somewhat more particular about movies I love to watch and quote with equal fervor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite places to be awestruck are anywhere in nature. You wouldn't believe how loud the woods can be if you just sit still. A close second might be when I got stuck in NYC during the blizzard of '08, I was standing in the middle of Times Square and it was snowing so hard you couldn't make out a single screen. As for amazing things I've done.. well I like to think every new adventure I get to take is amazing, but my favorite would be building a church in Brazil. That experience was wonderful, it taught me how much you can connect with someone with just a smile and a shared patch of shade.
