Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling just for the sake of moving from one place to another is meaningless. In order to truly experience the country/city a traveler should look not only inside the city but also inside the minds of people living in it. And CS provides quite an unique way to do so.

Interests

Things I am really interested in:
STEM: Anything from natural sciences to IT. The latter one is my field of work
Football: I will be really happy to both play and watch football
Movies: Not an expert or critic, but I'd enjoy watching a movie with a cup of tea and snacks
Languages: Being lucky enough to be born in Kazakhstan made life easier for us, bilinguals ;)
Geography: From the childhood had passion for learning about the world. And traveling is the most important part of it!
Bachata: I've got into latin social dances few months ago but it became a noticable part of my life. Would love to visit with you bachata parties in your city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have participated in International Geography Olympiad and met there people from all around the world. That made me feel as part of something Great and it would be fair to characterize it as critical point in my life ;). I realised that world isn't enormous as it seems, but still extremely different. So why not to try to discover more about it? ;)
