Overview
About Me
When I travel, I love nothing more than getting to do the ordinary things in different cities - long meals and good conversations with friends, going to the market, hanging out in public parks and visiting bookstores.
I currently live in NY, a city I love, where I’ve been off and on for about 11 years. I grew in Texas in a mixed Indian and West Virginian family of folks who love long conversations. I love to bring that sense of family and community with me wherever I go. Aside from my time at home in the US, I’ve also been lucky enough to live in Jerusalem, France and Germany.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My first time couchsurfing was with my older brother in Sofia and Istanbul a few years back, where we were welcomed by wonderful, welcoming hosts. We also hosted someone at our apartment in Jerusalem and got a chance to share our adopted home. Some of my best experiences traveling have been when I couchsurfed and got a chance to connect with both people and place in a way it would be hard to otherwise.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, and I'm from a big family - which means I find it so much nicer to make food to share than to just make food for myself.
