ABOUT ME

Sometimes when I think about it, I realize how lucky I really am. I am a student in New York City most of the time, but this past semester, 5 years of Italian study culminated in the most amazing semester abroad in Florence, Italy. I've also traveled around the US, Canada, Mexico, England, Belgium, Italy, China, and Thailand.
So that's a few places crossed off. Next on my list are Poland, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Turkey, Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Peru, Brazil....phew! Bring it on =)
I also love languages and will be starting to study linguistics soon. English is my native language, but I speak Cantonese conversationally, have studied Italian for nearly 6 years, and have just begun to study some French. My next goal: German.

I recently couchsurfed for the first time in Sicily and it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life!

Apparently, I am at the same time stereotypical girly romantic dreamer, and geeky pre-teen boy, because I love Jane Austen and chick-lit (particularly the British brand), but I also love Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
Love Actually is my favorite movie of all time. <3 I am interested in quality above all and will give anything a try if it's interesting - unless it's scary!
Music has been a huge part of my life, having studied it a lot when I was younger. I'll give anything a listen. =)
