I'm a 26 years old Italian guy. After an amazing one and a half year in the United States, I recently moved back to Europe, and now I live and work in Villach, in southern Austria.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing about one and a half year ago for my trips around the United States, and I've had such a good time that I decided to become a host myself.
I find the concept of hosting travellers with no other benefit than one's personal growth absolutely awesome. The few experiences I had so far have definitely contributed to make me a better person.

Interests

Grown up in a family of musicians, I've been a great fun of opera and classical music since I was 12. Literature and poetry come immediately after. Love traveling, meeting new people and learning from them, possibly over a beer, dancing, chilling at the park on a Spring day.
I'm gay and I like being open-minded about my and other's sexuality. Guests of any gender and sexual orientation are obviously welcome ;)

Back to serious, I once travelled to Chicago from Austria and stayed only 3 days, just to attend my Master's commencement ceremony

Teach, Learn, Share

I get super excited when it comes to learn languages. I'm always glad to teach Italian, my native language and (by popular opinion) among the most beautiful. I'm currently learning German, which is proving quite challenging ;) I speak a little bit of French but I've never gotten a chance to improve it.
I'm eager to get to know as much as possible about traditions and lifestyle in other countries.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides offering them my couch, I like to make sure that my guests have a good time by following them in their tours or showing them around. I like having meals together, drinks (especially wine), and share stories about my/their life.
As I can sing quite decently, I might let you assist (if you wish) to some of my performances of Opera arias ;)
