Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get some college under my belt as I dream and plot to see every country in the world.
ABOUT ME
I traveled to Chile, my country of birth, to understand my roots and Spanish. Both hostel work and teaching in Chile opened my eyes to the real scope of the world and gave me the passion to see, understand, learn from and teach individuals around the world. I am very driven to see the world and make connections with people in the countries I will visit. My Spanish is good, next is portuguese, but maybe above all I want to become fluent in the universal language--music. I play guitar and thoroughly enjoy listening to an array of music. I will soon start school in Austin, TX, where I will study until I get my Bachelors Degree. Then I'll teach in Thailand, perhaps. Time will tell.
PHILOSOPHY
I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Through working at Bellavista Hostel in Santiago, Chile, I came to understand the importance in unity between persons of different nationalities and cultures. It seems as though Couch Surfing is full of people with like interests. When I am financially prepared to, I definitely will host travelers and accommodate them--that was my job for months in Chile.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am new to Couch Surfing but on my travels I have met many people who are passionate about this community. It seems as though this will be a great place for me.
My cousin let me stay at his place in Longmont, Colorado, my friend in Sao Paulo, Brazil let me crash on a cot for 2 weeks and another friend in Quito, Ecuador let me use a spare bed of his as I traveled around Ecuador. I will forever appreciate what these people did. They have definitely inspired me to host travelers when I have the ability to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed an Outward Bound Mountaineering course after High School Graduation. Strenuous hiking with a 70 pound pack and even a 3 day solo period in silence fasting helped reinforce the fact that I can do anything I want in my life.
