Hello !

My name is Marie. Currently I live and work in Athens with my boyfriend and we try to visit Greece as much as possible. I think I am an easy going and respectful person, sometimes I can be shy, I love trying new things and learning, I am energetic but at the same time I love sleeping and spending time in bed, doing nothing - but trying to stop because I’m becoming lazy !
One thing I love doing when travelling : wake up really early in the morning and enjoy the sunrise or have a walk in the quiet streets of the city. In general I try to avoid the crowd and so always I’m happy to have some advice from locals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet other persons who love traveling and learn new cultures. What is cool when being hosted by a local is that we often end up cooking and that’s how you discover the real local food 😋

I usually don’t send a request for more than two nights as I know we all have a busy life and don’t want to disturb too much. But I sometimes ended up staying much longer than that at someone’s place and it was always an amazing experience and I am still in touch with them.

I hope I’ll be able to become a host one day and help and give advice to other travellers. I can’t thank enough all the persons who hosted me so far and will try to be as awesome as they were with me.
