ABOUT ME

I am a student at the University of North Texas in Denton. You probably haven't heard of it. I am majoring in Psychology and really trying to figure myself out. I am not too sure what I want to do with that degree yet. I try not to work and break into the corporate world, but it's proving to be pretty difficult. Scrounging for money every month gets tiring. I love playing music and hope to do that for the rest of my life. I play guitar, bass, piano, and have recently picked up the violin. Other than music, books and movies I also really enjoy. I try to keep an optimistic approach to life, but I usually end up failing in that task, not to say I don't still have fun. Optimism is overrated anyway. I also hope to spend a good majority of my life traveling and meeting strange and interesting people that I can share stories and good times with. I want to see the world before I have any obligations to a career or family.

Books: The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera and also A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess are my favorites. F Scott Fitzgerald, Thomas Hardy, James Joyce is amazing, and anything by Nietzsche.
Music: Radiohead, Explosions in the Sky, Modest Mouse(old modest mouse), Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Pinback, Elliot Smith, Pavement, Built to Spill, Blonde Redhead, Cat Power, Arcade Fire, The Smiths, The Cure.
Films: Motorcycle Diaries, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, Blue Velvet and all David Lynch movies, Wes Anderson is a genius, oh yeah, and Pauly Shore movies. They are a guilty pleasure.
