About Me

ABOUT ME

2016: Together with my boyfriend Robin, I travel through south America. Robin is from the UK and we met each other in Amsterdam, at our graphic design jobs. After a few years of working and living together, we quite our jobs and cancelled our house to expierence freedom to the fullest and : a real dream come true!!

2010: Ever since I was 17 I wanted to travel 'alone' for a longer time! But somehow I alway seemed to be consentrating on other things first. I'm really dedicated to the things I do, like my work. I love it! But after ArtSchool and working at a really nice designstudio for 3 years, I allready felt like I missed out on something... so last december I finally got on the plane:)! It's been a fantastic ('hellsick' you say?) experience sofar! Wow: meeting the best travelbuddies, seeing the most stunning and breathtaking nature, trying new things every week... I love this!
Back home I'm really a 'citygirl', but when I'm travelling I like to explore things that I would find back home, like beatifull national parks, waterfalls, tracks and beaches!

PHILOSOPHY

Try new things every day, be open for changes and meeting other people. I like to smile, think positive and make the most out of everything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For 3 weeks I was travelling with Laura, a German girl, who told me about couchsurfing. Together we tried this for the first time and it was great! In a few days, I've learned so much more about the county I'm travelling in! Don't get me wrong: meeting other travellers is also great! In general I'm just really interested in peoples' stories:) and all the special (not top-touristic) places they know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have my first couchsurf experience in Brisbane: Ben showed me and Laura the Springbrook National Park and we klimbed down a waterfall a went swimming there! Wow, really one of my highlights in my trip. I would never have done this by myself!!!
Ben made us Kangeroo and we made him Onionpie and Pizza. I love this generosity! Someting I'll bring back home!
