ABOUT ME

I am a teacher in a vocational college (have been working as a teacher for 20+ years). During this time I have been involved in and coordinating a fair amount of international school projects, since I like meeting people from abroad, and being able to discover more about other countries. I have also noticed that through the eyes of a visitor you discover more about your own country than you have seen before.

I am married, and have two grown-up kids that moved away from home some time ago - this is the reason why there are two extra bedrooms in my house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just getting into Couchsurfing. Waiting for things to start happening.

Interests

I want to see other places, meet people living there, and learn more about countries, cultures, and the persons I meet.

Other interests:
I've been singing in various choirs and a cappella groups for almost all my life. I have also occasionally been heard strumming an acoustic 12string guitar and singing.
My camera is always with me when I travel - I enjoy taking photos, but I have learned that the best pictures are often the ones you never had the time to catch digitally but are stored in my own memory.
