ABOUT ME

I love coffee and cocktails, but not at the same time. I love people who smile all the time, because they make me smile as well. I'd like to think I'm kind, funny in a somewhat sarcastic way, spontanious, open-minded and not easily shocked. And I can listen very well. I hate making important descisions and at times I can get a little insecure. I never look left or right while crossing roads, and it's a miracle I'm still in one piece. If I could I would watch movies all day every day. I can't live without music and when I go out I need to dance. I love food I've never heard of and I'll try almost anything at least once. Swings, fairytales and little adventures make me a very happy girl.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had the best of luck while couchsurfing in the US, because my travelfriend got really sick and we were stuck in a hotel most of the time *sob*

Unfortunately I am not really able to host in Amsterdam. I live with three roomates in a teeny tiny appartment and I don't think they'll be very happy with CS-ers walking in and out all the time (even though CS-ers are the greatest people in the world, obviously). I am however always available for a good/really-bad-but-oh-so-funny conversation, a tour around town, a crazy clubnight or a glass of wine in one of the many parcs in Amsterdam.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll read and watch almost anything. I've developed a love for fiction & fantasy. Hobbits, dancing elfs, wizards and talking animals can occupie me for hours. When it comes to music I prefer rock & alternative & indie. Lykke Li, Bright eyes, Sia, Emiliana Torrini and Death Cab for Cutie are a few of my favorites. When I go out there needs to be music with a good beat to dance on :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first big trip on my own. To Australia. I remember thinking: 'So, here I am. Completely alone. On the other side of the world'. It felt so weird, unreal and awesome!
