About Me

Please, read this part carefully. I consider it's important for you to know this information before reaching me out:)

After several exchanges I've had, I think I have no other choice than to warn the CS community that I DON'T USE THIS AS A SEX FINDER. So I invite you to go and check references in my profile if doubting to contact me. No doubts that this information is mainly for women and it bothers me to write this, but this is the world we are...

-- CURRENT STATUS IN CS --

I'm at my family's home in Jerez de la frontera. Open to meet new people but not likely to host as I need the approval of mum and dad (their home, their rules). You can ask me whatever you want/need if you're planning a trip in Cádiz or Sevilla. It'll be a pleasure to help you :)

Note that I don't have a verified profile as I don't want to share info like my phone number nor my ID card with "Couchsurfing". So I'll remain unverified but still someone you can rely on ;)

-- ABOUT ME -- (the most important events resumed)

Ending my studies at university, one day came up to my mind the idea of being an 'au pair' guy and finally, I ended up in Corse and lived there for one year.

During this time I learnt to speak French, I met new people (also made new and very important friends) and lived a lot of experiences that had a huge impact on me.

When I came back from Corse, the pandemics forced our societies to change the way we used to live for a time. This was a period where I tried to understand a lot of things about myself and to search answers about what I want for my life. Unfortunately, it seems that when you finally find some answers, there are new questions to answer hahaha.

Currently I'm in a period of important changes after having shared my pathway for two years with someone that I love and splitting up. New things to come...

-- WHO I AM -- (or I think I am)

I'm an open-minded person who likes to exchange experiences and interests with others. I love eating (really I do!), doing sport, foreign languages and dancing. In my free time I like to spend some time catching up with friends, but also enjoying of loneliness, just being in the countryside walking or enjoying the peacefulness.

I follow a vegetarian diet. I don't like to waste energy into things that are not worthy and I'm very into politics. You may clash with me as I don't tolerate discrimination in any manner, but no need to worry unless you're a racist, you're against LGTBQ+ rights or equality. And on top of that, I'm still able to confront in a polite manner, without making you feel miserable nor insulting you :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I knew this site thanks to a friend and I still consider that it's a great way to interact with local people when travelling in order to know their way of living, their traditions... and also because I still believe in COMMUNITY. You're less when you're alone. When you're in community you may feel less freedom, but you walk further if you rely on other people and know to share with them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to different music genres (really a wide range, from classical music to metal and no matter what language).

I don't watch TV and very rarely I watch some films (mostly documentaries). On the other hand, I like reading but I can spend months without doing it and suddenly reading a huge book in a very short time haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2019: Coming home from Corse without taking a plane, visiting some places I didn't know and seeing some friends that live abroad. It took a month.

2022: Sharing my life with a very special person that I knew thanks to 'Couchsurfing'.

2025: "Traversée bretonne" by bike for two weeks before leaving Bretagne.

What I haven't done:

Camino de Santiago, visiting Venezia... In fact, not keen into mainstream things ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

We'll figure it out if we eventually meet up!

What I Can Share with Hosts

It's hard for me to answer this question. Maybe a deep conversation no matter the topic is as I'm a very curious person. Also a good meal that we can prepare together or help you with material things if you're travelling (laundry, logistics).

I can also tell you some curiosities about Sevilla and what you can do there in case you want to visit this fantastic city, aswell as giving you more information about my region, Andalucía.

IMPORTANT (pay attention to this, please):
I hate to waste my time and energies. I'm tired of "travellers" that travel a lot and do a lot of things but can't live the very present time. I look for spending time with people that really want to share a moment with the other person or, AT LEAST, have real interest in knowing the places they visit. If you're just looking for party or free-accomodation, please try elsewhere.

In conclusion, don't be surprised if you find a negative reference if you make me feel I'm wasting my time.
