My mission is to find beauty everywhere I go. I have done so in the most unexpected places such as a war zone in Afghanistan.

ABOUT ME

One of my favorite things in life is art, which comes in an infinite amount of forms. To be specific, music, dance, and any fine art (as in painting, sculpture, etc.) that tells a good story is what I enjoy most. I love a good story. Food. I love trying new things like food, or a dance I haven't attempted to learn yet. I love learning about different cultures and their history. Lets sit down on your porch and have some tea, or perhaps walk the streets and window-shop with some flavored ice, and I'll listen as you tell me your story.

PHILOSOPHY

As cliche as it may sound, we should take time to enjoy the little things in life. A brief moment of peace as you sip your favorite drink, or enjoying a cool breeze in shorts and a t-shirt, perhaps some warm hot cocoa with the warm belly of your puppy on your lap.

Aslo, try to find beauty everywhere we go, within people, places, objects.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have experience in traveling or hosting, but there's a first time for everything. I found out about couch surfing awhile ago, but never really checked it out until just recently. It seems like an awesome way to travel and meet people.

Interests

Dance, music, artwork, history and culture, food, plays and shows, hiking. I really want to learn how to surf! I want to be great at photography!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music and give different types a fair chance. With that being said, I love talent (which is very subjective nowadays) My favorites include Sublime, Bob Marley, Alicia Keys, No Doubt, The Beatles, Romeo Santos of Aventura, and Eminem. Favorite movies include Big Fish, Lilo and Stitch, Blood-In Blood-Out, and Wall-E. Books include Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Stuck in Neutral, Flowers in the Attic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think learning how to dance salsa and bachata in Afghanistan is pretty amazing.

What I have to offer...... I'm an excellent cook! I could share my creativeness in the art of Mexican and Vietnamese cooking. What I wish to learn is how to surf and become a better dancer. Other than that, if you're friendly and interesting, I want to learn all about you!
