We are from Warsaw, Poland where we lived for most of our lives.

We're both sociologists - Maciek works in the field of literature and new media, Magda works at an NGO which focuses on civic and local activism. Apart from that we tend to engage in milions of different things, like politics, community work, travelling, translating and, most of all, hanging out with friends. We love art, movies, literature and good live music.

We're trying not to work too hard (we always do), find time for friends and travels near and far.

In 2014 our son was born and our daughter came in 2017, and so everything became more complicated and marvellous at the same time ;)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We used to surf and host as much as we could. We've hosted in Warsaw and Memphis, we've surfed in US and Europe. W loved it. Plus, we've found some awsome friends via CS :)

Right now we don't have space to host people, but we'll be glad to hang out with you and show you some great places in our beautiful city.

Música, películas y libros

We can't live without movies, music and books. It's not easy to choose, but we definitely love Herzog, Cassavetes, spaghetti westerns (Maciek), Meryl Streep (Magda), zombies, Tom Hardy, indie rock, jazz, blues, and reading whatever we find on the shelf.

2,5 months on the roadtrip across the USA. The most memorable experience ;)

Lately we learn mostly how kids work ;) We generally like to share and we're sure that there's always something to learn from every encounter
