ABOUT ME

I am currently a student at the University of Washington, majoring in history. Which basically means that I'll probably have to go back to school to get a degree in something I can actually get a job in, like biology.

I'll be travelling to Europe this summer for two months where I'll be travelling with a friend.

I'm willing to exchange a couch for a couch.

Interests

Baking, obviously. Cooking. Lying in my hammock on a hot summer day, riding my bike, visiting relatives in Sweden. Setting off on an adventure, not really knowing where I'll end up. All things medieval.

And of course, travelling in Europe.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge film fan. My favorite director is Pedro Almodovar, followed closely by Hitchcock. I love foreign cinema and film noir. Some of my favorite movies include: All About Eve, All About My Mother, Casablanca, Rear Window, Bella Martha, and The Philadelphia Story.

For music, I'm much more ecclectic. Some of my favorite bands are Muse, Wolfmother, Bonobo, Bitter:Sweet, Franz Ferdinand, Pepe and the Bottle Blondes, Wax Tailor, Led Zeppelin, and of course Jimmi Hendrix.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can bake American-style desserts, including the ever-classic American pie. I can also play Swedish folk music, and know my way around a paintbrush.
