About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To prepare myself for a new adventure!
ABOUT ME
I'm just this girl, a wannabe wordslinger who is always fighting back the urge to charge off on another adventure.
PHILOSOPHY
My Four Truths
1. It's all part of the journey.
2. I don't have much, but what I have I have to share.
3. Regardless of where, who, or what you are, we're all in this together.
4. There is an epic adventure everyday, and there is treasure everywhere (yes, I did get that last one from Calvin and Hobbes).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf, I host, I donate.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Bah! Italy, London, and all around Ireland. It was amazing, and I loved every minute of it. From playing Coppit in London to drinking Guinness in Strandhill while watching Ireland beat England at rugby, everyone I met has been a true delight. I've also hosted a couple times, and it has been thoroughly rewarding.
Interests
Movies, music (playing, listening, and conversing about until the wee hours of the morning), 20th century literature (with a great emphasis on Kerouac and the Beats), history, Shakespeare and amateur theatre, the outdoors, quilting, wine, cooking, the history and quirks of wherever I'm settled at a particular time, and tons of little side projects that change too rapidly to be listed here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stood naked on a mountaintop in Maine. Pure life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can make this dish called hoppin' john and apparently, according to my friend Kara and the folks in Cork, a good risotto. That, and I can knit and crochet. And I can tell you all about American masculinity issues, especially from the Great Depression to the seventies.
