Overview
About Me
I grew up in a small town in SW New Mexico, USA, but I've lived for a couple of years in New Hampshire and attend a small college/university in Claremont, CA (near Los Angeles). Right now I'm studying for a semester in Geneva, taking classes at UniGe and doing a data analysis internship for an experiment at CERN. I really like math, physics, and other areas of quantitative thinking, but I also love dancing, backpacking, hiking, and getting to know new people and places.
Currently I can't accept guests because the place I'm living has a very rigid no-overnight-guests policy. When I get back to the US, though, I'll be able to host people, and I'm always happy for a chance to meet up with someone new!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It seems silly to travel somewhere and not get to know anyone who lives there - most of what identifies a place in my mind is the people. I'd much rather see how people experience life in a new city than just stand and contemplate the inanimate structures that surround them. (Also it's fun!)
