About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Through the last years I got involved in climat change and ecology issues. I would like to travel to get to know new solutions ans approaches that people have, inspire and share. I am also gathering material for a blog that I start to write on the link between culture, modernity and nature.

I am also a photographer and I would like to tell visual stories about places I visit and people I get to know. Last summer I have started a photographic project on Portugease countryside and about changes it undergoes. That's when I started to learn Portugease and I developped a profound interest in its culture. I led me to the idea to travel to Bresil, so there I go!

ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old, I have almost finished my studies in Litterature in Lille, France. I live here with my boyfriend and friends. I am currently working in International Relations Office at my University, which I find extremly inspiring. Sometimes I translate from french, polish or english.

I would like to make a change, even if its a small one to start. Thats why I try to develop my knowledge about ecology and sustainable way of life.

My "gurus" are: Jane Goodal, Amy Vitale, Pierre Rabbhi, Vandana Shiva.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

folk, swing, electro, blues, jazz, rock,... I don't like to classify music by types. I like many types of music, I do not feel good in "too heavy sounds" but maybe.

Movies:

The movies I admire, but these are "to see one time" kind of movies:
"Amour" Haneke, "A Single Man" Ford, "The Best Offer"Tornatore, "Grande Belleza" Sorrentino, "Pianist" Polański...

The movies "The Salt of the Earth" and "War Photographer", "about famous photographers and their courageous life have deeply moved me, I recommend totally even if they're hard. Ah and "Finding Vivian Mayer" also! :)

And of course, I love also the classics and also interesting, small productions. I like some Hollywood classics, but I am certainly more European-little-cinema kind of person ^^

("Cinema Paradiso", "Finding Neverland", "Death Poets Society", "Sleuth" ( oh here the actors play...delight), "Force Majeure" "The Lunchbox")

I like good documentary movies also... like "Human Scale" "Once upon a forest" - films that make you think and discover, and they're also well done, interesting. I will stop there... but we can really talk a lot about movies.

AND BOOKS!!!! I love to read! I love to read, to translate, I could live in a library. And travel. I am not just sitting and reading person, but I am certainly a person with a book ^^

"La vie devant soi" by Romain Gary- everyone should read that!

AND my special category - favorite photographers :) :

Amy Vitale, t, Steve McCurry, Sebastiao Salgado (watch "the salt of the earth"), Vivian Mayer, Bressai, Irving Penn, Tomasz Tomaszewski, Eliot Erwitt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hm... I am doing all the time many little amazing things! :)

One amazingly stupid that I can say turned out well, was to kiss a stranger which turned out to be the love of my life ^^

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach polish and french, photography, drawing, being optimistic.

I would like to learn about place I travel to, not only its history, but also its people, social issues, approach to nature, ecology solutions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Wonderful moments and experiences, iIwill give the best of me, I don't make trouble, I am a joy-bringer and I like to talk. Seriously and not seriously. Ready for adventure!
