About Me

ABOUT ME

I was born in Kerman which is famous for its long history and strong cultural heritage. I was two when we moved to Bandar-e-Abbas and six when we moved to Shiraz the city of poets, literature, wine and flowers.
I moved to Tehran to attend university, lived there for six years, and then moved to Istanbul for a year to get my MBA. Now I am back in Shiraz living my adult life.

I love living in big cities since there are always new places to visit, new people to meet and new things to do. I love adventure and enjoy challenges. I also like travelling as a tool to meet new cultures. I'd rather go around the city, interact with people, eat local food, drink at a local bar and dance to the local music when I'm abroad than to stay in a tourist bus and take pictures of landmarks which can be easily found on the internet. I enjoy the present culture much more than the past history.

I love to create, whether that's a product video, a work of art or some random object made out of cardboard to fix a problem at home. Other than that, I love to explore and learn new things. Pretty much any thing can be fascinating to me. My biggest project right now is to get my French to C2 level.

I am smart, self-disciplined and ambitious. But above all I am curious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to Couchsurfing by my cousin in Istanbul. Since then, I have attended numerous CS gatherings in Tehran and Istanbul, and hosted surfers from countries I have never seen.

Each Couchsurfing experience is a very unique one. Meeting new people, laughing together with people that you met just a moment ago, and knowing about lifestyle and culture of other nations are among billions of answers I have for the question "Why I'm on Couchsurfing".
