ABOUT ME

Some of my friends call me a gipsy (cigana - in portuguese) because I love fresh air and I am happy to be outdoors, playing sports, talking, walking, going to the beach, resting... I am also informal and a bit nomad. They would say I like to get along with people and I am easy going. I like to think and talk about life, ask existential questions, sometimes I overthink... I like to host!

PHILOSOPHY

Try to never stop learning from others, from experience and reality. I believe the little gestures make the diference for people and the hole society.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been traveling in North and South America, and I was hosted by amazing couchsurfers! Thanks to them I felt at home in places I have never been before, I learned a lot and I never felt alone. I had the opportunity to meet one year after some couchsurfers that turned into good friends and I am happy to keep in touch with most of them. I am willing to give back now by hosting!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I think one of the most beautiful and touchfull moments of my life was on a mental health hospital, where I was for a day, as a volunteer. I felt truly human connection and I learned that we don’t need to talk the same language or talk at all to communicate, and that the deepest beauty is not the one that we see at first sight, but the simplicity and vulnerability of the human kind, and caring for each other. All my volunteer experiences and social work I’ve done has been a great experience of affect exchange, learning and fulfillment.
