About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Snuggle as many cats as possible.
ABOUT ME
I just moved from Sarasota, Florida to Seattle, Washington. Just getting myself set up here, and hopefully will be able to start hosting soon!
My life dream is to own a bed & breakfast and cater to people with dietary restrictions. I've been dabbling of late in vegan and gluten-free cooking, and am excited about learning to do it better.
Interests
I like arts and crafts a whole lot, things like painting, cross-stitch, etc. I love to sing, and sometimes I play the guitar, too. I am also very interested in cats, anthropology, and yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is Watership Down by Richard Adams. It is a story about different kinds of strength, about loyalty and courage, and about rabbits. It also has a beautifully developed mythology and a rabbit folk-hero who is my inspiration in life. I listen to a lot of Joanna Newsom.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Several years ago I had the best summer of my life. I was a camp counselor and taught little kids about the Everglades. I've lived on Florida for nigh-on 24 years, and I have a native's wealth of knowledge about the birds, beasts, and vegetable inhabitants of the landscape. That summer I snorkeled for the first time - 60 feet over a reef, surrounded by schools of baby parrot fish. I'm afraid of deep water and big fish, but it was too astoundingly beautiful to instill fear in my heart. My friend Richard also happened to live just a few miles away, and he had baby rabbits. It was just the best.
