The heart of Couchsurfing is the Host - without hosts to offer couches, there would be no Couchsurfing! So my deepest thanks and appreciation goes out to all the people so graciously opening their homes to complete strangers! :)
So to that end, going forward, I will only be accepting guests who have also hosted others previously! Give and you shall receive... Host and you shall be hosted! haha... At least by me anyway. :)
And for those who are just starting out and brand new to CS - HOST FIRST! There are ALWAYS people looking for couches, so welcome a few into your home and see what it's like to host a guest BEFORE you try to be one! It will give you a completely different outlook on CS, and it will also help to ensure CS continues to have plenty of hosts going forward! :)

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is a never-ending work in progress, to learn as much as possible about the world around me. And to have as much fun as humanly possible doing it.

ABOUT ME

I love life! I love to experience everything life has to offer, and live with no regrets! I love to have fun and live with passion! Life's too short not to! I am an avid learner, and I want to inhale everything there is to know about this world, starting with other countries, cultures, and peoples. Combine all that with the fact that I have the ability to quickly and easily fall asleep ANYWHERE, and it leads me to believe that I was born to Couch Surf! Hmmm... Perhaps there's actually a long lost race of Couch Surfing peoples that I descended from... I'll have to look into that.

PHILOSOPHY

We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing. I love to play, laugh, have fun and enjoy my life. Life is too short to be pissed off all the time. Besides, there's so much to be thankful for, if we'd only take the time to look for it and appreciate and enjoy it.

Love to plan/attend CS get-togethers! Doesn't really even matter what state - if a major airline flies there, I'm interested in attending!

Oh, and I'm also willing to stay on your couch to help promote the CS community...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and surfed several couches through couchsurfing.com, and I had a BLAST each time! The people I've met here have always been really interesting and great to get to know.

I've also surfed several friends couches (and floors and lawns...) after a night of heavy partying. Ummm... Does that count?

Interests

Skydiving, rock climbing, scuba diving, motorcycling, flying, sailing, hiking, boating, tennis, volleyball, exercise, music, art, beaches, wine, travel, the ocean, laughter, intelligence, conversation, learning, science.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'd love to read more and watch more movies, but I'm usually too busy DOING stuff to have time to sit down and read or watch TV. Someday I'll have the time...

I have a HUGE range of music interests however. I love live music, and I generally know what I like when I hear it. Interests include 60's rock, 70's funk, damn near any 80's music, Hip Hop, R&B, old school Hair Metal bands, Latin, Classical, World music, and Jazz. I think that pretty much covers everything...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a Rat riding on the back of Cat, who was riding on the back of a Dog, and the owner was taking them for a walk down the street. Truly amazing. The owner said he did it just to show that if a Rat, a Cat and a Dog can all get get along, then so can we. Brilliant.

And of course jumping out of an airplane from over 2 miles in the air... That's pretty amazing too. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach from my experiences, learn from other people's. We all have more to teach and share than we'll ever know.

I can fix almost anything in or on a house - put me to work while I'm Surfing! And I love to learn about other people's passions, whatever they are - teach me about what you're passionate about!
