CURRENT MISSION

Right now my current mission is to see as much of the world in three months. Figuring out how to do it still though.

ABOUT ME

Call me MM, Marian, Aiza, (Mr. Guggenheim if you're my brother). I'm a li'l bit shy but trying to be more outgoing. I'm very new to this world of couchsurfing, was introduced to it by my good friend David. Before, I thought traveling is a luxury but now I feel I can go anywhere if I put my mind to it.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is what you make it. I don't believe in what-ifs. I believe that whatever the situation is/was or the outcome that resulted from it, the choices you make/made is the best option you have/had at that particular moment. You just have to deal.

I cannot offer my couch yet as i live with my brother and his family but I can meet up for coffee or tea or share whatever information I can share about the Philippines.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love watching movies in cinemas alone. I can watch any movie depending on my mood. Fave: Driving Miss Daisy
With music I appreciate almost everything except country and hard metal. Love Neo-soul, RnB, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Pop, Alternative, Rock, Acoustic, Reggae, Rap, Bossa and lots of other stuff. Love Macy Gray, India Arie, Amy Whinehouse, Ella Fitzgerald, Lauryn Hill, Aretha Franklin, Maxwell, Fiona Apple, Anthony and the Johnsons, Eraserheads, Foo Fighters, Mariah Carey, Up Dharma Down, Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, Bamboo, Mishka Adams, Alicia Keys, Gym Class Heroes, Maroon 5, N.E.R.D.,Antonio Carlos Jobim, etc..
With books, of course I have to mention my love for fantasy novels and I like them long and detailed. This is why Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Sherlock Holmes are on the top of my list.
