My name is Magdalena, I'm from Santiago, Chile and about 3 months ago I decide to start an adventure with 2 friends: go to the Southeast Asia. The main reasons is that I have a mad desire to travel, meeting new people from all over the world and learn about new cultures.
I studied sociology and I worked in marketing for a while, but then I quit and I decided to left everything to get the trip of my life, to find myself and live an unforgetable adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about CS some time ago, and I just begin to figure out how it worked in this trip. So I really like the idea of met new people, but also I want to hear differents stories and share mines. I think share with people you dont know is the best way to travel.

Interests

The thing I love the most in the world is sing! I'm in love with music in general. I love books, I'm a fan of movies, I love to dace salsa, actually I like to dance every kind of music. And of course I hope I can travel around the world for the rest of my life.

I love music in general and I like to listen and discover new things, but I still have my favorites, I love cumbia, classic rock, jazz, indie and latin american music. My favorites books are The kite runner and The metamorphosis, and my favorites authors are Paulo Coelho and Agatha Christie. My favorites movies are American beauty, City of god, Carnage, Donnie Darko and The Shining.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I quit everything to get here, to get the trip of my life! But if I have to say an especific thing it's that I survived to the death road in Bolivia (really I almost die haha)

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to share everything I am and I know. I can share what I know about music, cooking, history, etc. If someone wants to learn a little bit of spanish I can help with that too :) I'm really open to learn everything, I love to hear new experiences and I believe that you always can learn something from others.
