Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the world better through prolieferation of knowledge and to keep myself entertained in the process.
ABOUT ME
Well, I like to make stuff, read, travel, stay physically active in new ways, and recently some writing. Functionality takes precedence over aesthetics for me most of the time. I consider myself open minded and a listener. I love listening to peoples opinions and picking their brain as to why they hold this particular opinion.
I love the idea of a sustainable future and strive to lower my environmental impact
Currently stepping up my self-exploration game.
PHILOSOPHY
My very simplified philosophy on life is what comes around goes around; so I am always honest and try to be forthcoming and cherish and respect those who do the same. I am also starting to realize how little I actually know about the world, funny how the expression 'you don't know what you don't know' has manifested itself.
We are all one and reliant on one another on this "Spaceship Earth" so let's get it right!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined because a good buddy of mine turned me on to this project and I think it is an amazing idea. I will certainly open up my door to fellow travelers once I get a place again. But does anyone make Minnesota a travel destination???
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Got to meet and surf with several CSers recently and can safely say that CS is the best website on the internets! Everyone I have met thus far has been a 100% grade A human.

Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading "The Brothers Karamazov" (I love Dostoevsky's writing style... or its interpretation anyway) & "The 4 Hour Work Week". Just read "Watership Down", Hemingway's Short Stories and 'Rum Diary' by Thompson. Reading up on yoga and some other non-fiction stuff that pertains to my current situation (cruising the Bahamas and Caribbean). Lover of almost all music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learning about life and especially how to be part of a healthy relationship, Climbed Mt. Baldy, traveled all over the world, had the good fortune of meeting a lot of amazing people, spearfished with sharks, Songkoran in Thailand, lived in Hong Kong for 7 months, rose in love (thanks for correcting me Puneet :o)
Teach, Learn, Share
Engineering, 'slow food' and the absurdity of the FDA and current food trends in America, a bit about yoga philosophy (I know a little and would like to learn a lot about this). I'm sort of a Jack of all Trades... know a little bit about a lot of stuff.
I lived in Hong Kong for seven months, so if you have any questions about that area feel free to drop me a line.
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Cambodia, China, Philippines, Thailand
Countries I’ve Lived In
