About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To follow the winds to wherever they take me; to follow the currents to new shores.
ABOUT ME
I totally let my couch surfing slide the past two years I have been in grad school and I am so sorry!! I will be better about responding and would love to meet up to hang out if anyone is in the area :) read more about me and hit me up if you're around. Peace and love.
Like most people on this site, I love traveling like I love the air I breathe. New experiences, places, and people feed the fire in my soul. When I'm not traveling, I'm working as a Victim Advocate for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and as a part-time Therapist Intern. I also am in grad school and pretty busy these days.
I'm a vegetarian and love to be as sustainable as I can. I buy all organic food and I make most things from scratch! I love cooking for people, but would also like to learn some new recipes, so if you like cooking and eating, I'll be happy to be your host!
I like the crunch of leaves under my feet or practicing yoga, but I like getting lost in grid-work and cement and pavement as well. Exploring every crevice of the world and every wrinkle on skin is something I will never quit doing.
PHILOSOPHY
To see all the world and its people:) I like to live life as it comes and let my experience of the world absorb itself into my core. I try not to worry too much, because everything really happens for a reason. Souls cross paths for instants or lifetimes, and impart some small wisdom, if only we would listen to the whisper left behind in the wind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted and met up with other couchsurfers while I was living in Italy and also couch-surfed when I was in Madrid! I have also visited Denver and Couchsurfed while there. I now try to host people at least once a month while living in Syracuse.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed in Madrid twice, Denver, USA once, and have hosted 3 times in Florence. I have also hosted a few times at my new home in Syracuse. I love the idea of couchsurfing- it brings amazing people together and always means a good time of stories and merging of cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books
TONS!!!
I love the Alchemist and anything by the Dali Lama...
I listen to just about anything except for most country.
I like a lot of movies; there are too many to name.
We have a TV, but not cable. We use it to watch things from Netflix and Hulu.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think living in Florence for four months and backpacking for two after that around Europe and Morocco was probably one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I met so many wonderful people, reconnected with old friends, and immersed myself in Italian culture (among so many others) - which I can never get enough of!
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about many different cultures and to share in other people's experiences. I hope that by visiting me, or by me visiting someone else, they can learn a little bit about what it's like to be a young American woman in America. I am always up for offering my travel advice as well:) I am also always willing to help with language study.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some great travel stories, delicious recipes, and some cool spots in and round Syracuse.
