PHILOSOPHY

Too much of anything is bad!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I am not in ability to offer my couch, right now I am offering my free time and knowledge of interesting little places around the city! So far I have had great experience with my hosts and I am always looking for a way to return their hospitality by making them a meal, some interesting gift or something similar :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've surfed at:

and had amazing experiences every single time!

On the other hand, hosted:

Music, Movies, and Books

Music

There is a huge list of unconnected bands and incredible individuals I enjoy listening to, I'm gonna list only some of them:
Nicolas Jaar, Queen, Faithless, RHCP, Caro Emerald, Empire of the Sun, GnR, Infected Mushroom, Rammones, Florence+The Machine, Iron Maiden, Metallica, The Presets, Pink, MGMT, Rammstein, Robyn, Beatles, Manu Chao, Adele, AC/DC, Crystal Castles, Sia, Hurts, Prodigy, David Guetta, Muse, Coldplay, Gossip...

Movies

I am a big movie lover but since I wantch them a lot, not many stay in my memory... Especially now with easy acces to them over internet... I enjoyed it much more when I had to go to the place and rent it, because there you can literally see all the movies in one place. One of two that just pop to my mind: Love actually (lovely family movie for holidays), Requiem for a dream (it's not that I liked it, it is real and it sticks to your mind), Reality check (the last one I saw), Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona (interesting), Y tu mama tambien, Dot the I....

Books

I use books to enjoy and relax when I have time. But since my Uni makes me spend A LOT of time over a book, I choose to spend my free time in a bit different way... There are so many books I just HAVE TO read in my life and I slowly started my work on fulfilling that goal!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited bunkers where force laborers were living during the Second World War in Berlin

Helped running a botanical garden of Lomonosov University in Moscow

Fought to preserve woods around Malpensa airport in Italy

Got an article published

Did some HIV/AIDS prevention lectures to deaf kids and prisoners...

Teach, Learn, Share

Thing that I could offer to my CS friends would be my interest in volunteerism and all the things I have learned doing that. Being a volunteer opens many doors to you, especially if you are willing to give your best doing it! Right now, I am a peer educator on subject of AIDS and I spend many hours during the school year doing lectures to high school students and it brings me a lot of joy.
I also do salsa (or I used to), so we can for sure make an interesting time out of that!
My life so far, my studies, volunteer experience led to me being an extremely chatty person, so starting and keeping a conversation about never ending list of topics is a guarantee!

Another thing worth spreading a word about is Serbia with many many wonderful things she offers! Check it out a bit and ask, I'll share all I know :)
