ABOUT ME

I am enjoying a bit of time off from the work-a-day world. Spent much time in Baja California and would love to share it with you. Ecology/Marine Bio has been the center of my life. Taught elementary school for 15 years and raised 3 wonderful kids...all studying hard at the university now....mostly I love to have adventures with them...and their dad...many times we pair off and have mini vacations with each other...In May my daughter and i traveled to USVI/BVI ..a first for us. SCUBA...yahoo

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch Surfing has been a wonderful experience for us as a family...I spent 3 weeks surfing throughout Israel and Jordan with my adult son. Have also stayed with some fantastic hosts in Oregon, and in Austin TX. It is always my go to when I am traveling...I always check out an available host before booking a room....Surfing is the only way to travel.

Interests

Of course...travel is big...Australia, New Zealand, Belize, Mexico, Fiji, Canada, US,Hawaii, Italy, Ireland, Scotland,USVI, Israel, Jordan. Love to sail, dive, backpack, yoga, read.blahblahblah Definately not interested in shopping.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all kinds of music, movies, and books...I am in a bookClub...mostly love to just get together with the girls and chat it up over dinner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will never forget the tandem hang gliding ride i had with my deceased brother's friend...you see he was a pioneer in the field of hang gliding in the 70's...he passed away in 1988 of cancer...and a special hang gliding meet is held in his honor in Sylmar, CA in May.I was able to be close to him for a brief time in the sky that day....a day i treasure 20 years later

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to Dive...cook...and spend time with people doing whatever. If I visit you..I would gladly cook and clean as I love to eat fresh, healthy foods....which is why i love to cook...
