ABOUT ME

We are a young couple (34&29) who are building a Social Marketing business and saving for our own place in early 2015 :-)

Merly loves cuisine, blogging, social-media, dancing and going to the gym. PA loves people & socialising, dancing and going to the gym. We are passionate about nutrition, fitness and well-being and we get to educate and empower people to improve their physical, mental, spiritual health and well-being and inspire the 'leader' in the people we work with.

We love to salsa dance, to go to concerts, drink 'real' coffee and delight in the gastronomical wonders of the world, great conversation from worldly travels and anything motivational.

We are passionate about our life and our future and definitely look on the bright side of life ;-) :-p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are professional house-sitters looking to house-sit our way through the calendar year of 2014 so as to be in a $ position to buy our own home early 2015. It's not easy. And we're determined. And it's as fun and rewarding as we're prepared to make it. In between house-sits when we don't have anywhere to stay we would love to surf on your sofas, in your spare beds, and hopefully make some great new friends along the way. Hopefully we can inspire and motivate some people along the way to 'get ahead' in life as we are out to do.

PA has spent 10 years traveling and is a veteran at providing somewhere to sleep for travellers and acting as tour guide. We couch-surfed whilst in the Mediterranean in 2010 it was a really nice nice experience, especially for Merly it having been her first time. We look forward to having our own place soon so as to invite couch surfers to come stay with us too :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meditteranean (PA & Merly). Sydney, US (PA). Our hosts were very helpful and although not always around, answered any questions we had and provided plenty of information for us. We are really looking forward to having our own own and Paying-It-Forward ;-) Maybe we can host you one day..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

PA - "Fallen in love, lost love, Lived in 4 countries and learned a new language on the streets, night walked in Hong Kong over 2 weeks of sleepless nights, spent time trapped in Mexico, made my way by swimming back to land surrounded completely by blackness in the meditteranean ocean, left my first bungy cage to the instructor frantically reaching out and screaming "wait" at me as I plumetted towards the ground in the greek islands, trapped in a bus being doused in petrol by ETA terrorists in northern Spain, Niagara Falls in Toronto, Spent a weekend on the Hopi Day native american reservation in Arizona, discovered the inauthentic way I had lived my whole life and presented with the opportunity to recreate myself."
