About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm interested in couch surfing because it reminds me of traveling as a Peace Corps volunteer. You meet wonderful people who know where to go and what to do. It's amazing what you will learn or find when meeting a kind stranger.
ABOUT ME
My wife's name is Liza and we have daughters named Lulu and Poppy. My Peace Corps experience in Mali, West Africa, changed me. I love disc golf (www.DiscDan.com). I dislike consumerism. I try to live simply. I love recreational sports of all kinds. I'm competitive with myself, but always enjoy what I'm playing.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be a respectful human. I try to be conscious of the 6 billion others that may be effected by my actions in some small, symbolic way. I try to consume as little as necessary. I enjoy creatively finding and reusing people's unwanted items. I want to always learn and never get too comfortable in life. I think if I'm comfortable I've either stopped learning or stopped caring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
