CURRENT MISSION
Turn things up-side down
ABOUT ME
Right now I'm doing a voluntary service in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I work with children and teenager in a Youth Center in order to improve my education- and language skills. In August I will return to Austria, where I currently study English and Spanish in order to be a teacher. I use my gap year here in Spain for travelling to as many places as possible and get to know interesting people :-)
I'm an open and active person and I enjoy experiencing new stuff - new food, new languages, new places, new people! I have to admit, though, that I have problems to concentrate on one thing because I'm easily bored. I enjoy laughing and I appreciate the company of people with a good sense of humor. I like doing things right, I'm responsible and reliable. On the other hand, my flatmates think I'm a bit too fussy about issues like cleaning, and it's true, but I try to take things easier since I'm Spain.. ;-)
The most important things in life for me are my friends and my family, experiencing new things everyday (and if it's just a new flavour of chewing gum)and giving back all the good things I have received in my life.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that everything you do will come back to you, the good as well as the bad. If you want to lead a happy life, change the things you don't like, accept what you cannot change and be smart enough to realize the difference between them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I offer my couch in Santiago as long as I stay in Spain and after that, my couch in Innsbruck, Austria.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, so far... I hope I will change that soon! :-)
Interests
I enjoy eating good food (and cooking it!), travelling, different kinds of sports (running, hiking, cicling...), going to concerts and festivals, but also reading and having a quiet tea or coffee. Also, I am interested in photography and always hunting for good shots! I'm addicted to music but, sadly, I'm useless at producing it.
